Description
MediPatchs are the pinnacle of modern medical technology. The thin, one-use, plastic discs contain nanomachines that use the patient's own tissues and cells to help repair their injuries (often forcing cellular reproduction to help gain enough biological material). These patches come in different ratings depending on how severe an injury they can treat and how fast they can fix the wound. Cheaper pads can only treat small cuts and bruises, whereas more expensive higher-rated pads can treat serious cuts and bone fractures. The higher-rated pads are expensive, but are still cheaper than sending a worker to the hospital, plus they save the company time as well as money. A foreman can slap the highest-rated pads on a critically wounded employee, and expect them to be up and ready to work in less than 10 minutes. Use of MediPads may lead to cancer and other health-conditions later in life, however, as long as management can get the most out of their employees before they die they do not care about any health issues the employees may have when they leave the company.
